No right foot. An unfortunate situation for a professional footballer.
He can surely still strike it on target when set up like that. He literally just has to hit it at the goal and it would probably have gone in.

don’t we have any coaching as to how to shoot with crispness and power?

F sake, these are supposedly Premier League players.

24 shots, and how many honestly troubled their keeper?

That’s GP, AJ had bags of confidence after scoring a couple of times and then isn’t seen for weeks. Bernardo, Montoya and Bissouma play one week and then are out of the squad for a couple of weeks. Duffy in one week and then dropped (I know that’s not the case today).

Yeah the inconsistency in squad choice and formation is p!ssing me off now tbh as you say, AJ is in great form and confidence seems to be sky high, really have no idea why he is not a regular starter.

I’m not going to slate March for missing that.
He did well to get in that position and it was a sublime ball from trossard.
It was one of the few incisive moves we’ve successfully pulled off this year.

Solly had Zaha tied up it was only when he was substituted that Zaha had any room to move this was only made worst by taking off Motoya, Trossard in my view should have been taken off and Solly moved over in his place and put Ali into the right wing earlier, the problem was not Solly the problem is changing the team week in week out we need a bit of consistency

You might not but he’s paid a shit load of money to score / create chances and they don’t get any better than that Not prem league player

I really like his game, he can beat players effortlessly at times and that seems beyond many of our big money signings. But he’s never had composure in front of goal, more likely to score from 30 yards than 10

Yeah, should have at least got it on target.
At least he had the balls and pace to be in the right position.
So much of our play was painfully slow today.

As for not being prem player - You could say that about pretty much all of them past couple of months.

Agree , his first touch and control was excellent, but clueless when running at defenders and 2 goals in 82 games says it all

You are talking about March. Never mind. Correct you are.

a galaxy far far away
Solly plays because usually he is effectively defensively.

The mistake is playing him as part of a front 3. He just doesn't have stats, goals or assists wise to justify it. I could see him being a decent Premier league wing back.

Solly never seems that bothered. Lack of passion, no conviction. Just seems to go through the motions.

Shame because there is a player in there.

I often remarked on that. He doesn’t appear bothered. He is also very good at hiding during games, I seen him go towards his marker thus removing himself as an outlet.
