Beautifully set up by Trossard. Has to hit it across the keeper into the far corner. Instead he goes for the near post. Why? Doesn't even get it on target. Basic stuff, really.

Both Sollys and Maupays chances today should both be guaranteed goals really poor finishing by both of them

Yeah, also the Maupay one when he shot straight at the keeper with the whole goal to aim at. But that March one seemed inexplicable. Really poor decision making.

Same as ever, never backs himself. Some lovely first touches but same old shite deliveries / shooting.
Not sure what the hell AJ has done not to be ahead of March.

That’s GP, AJ had bags of confidence after scoring a couple of times and then isn’t seen for weeks. Bernardo, Montoya and Bissouma play one week and then are out of the squad for a couple of weeks. Duffy in one week and then dropped (I know that’s not the case today).

Agree , his first touch and control was excellent, but clueless when running at defenders and 2 goals in 82 games says it all

No right foot. An unfortunate situation for a professional footballer.

I think there are more goals and assists in AJ than SM, but GP seems to prefer SM defensively.

Really? AJ scores a spectacular goal against chelsea and does bugger all else and all of a sudden everyone is worshipping him. March should have scored but Maupay's miss is inexcusable.

Why the surprise? March will miss 9 out of 10 sitters and then get a worldie. He is NOT a goal scorer, we knew that before KO. Trouble is he struggles to beat his man too. Or put a decent cross in. Still, doesn’t seem to matter in Potter’s Trotters Eleven.

Yeah , got us going with vital goal against Bournemouth , gets vital equaliser and sets up what should have been winner against Chelsea , great delivery gets us point at home to Watford all in very limited game time.

As with most things today. Good to a point but the finishing woeful. Mupaay wasn’t much better with his finishing. 24 shots 8 on target should see some returns for a goal or 2

AJ was so positive when he came on, too. Should have started.
