That God awful Joe Dolce aberration.

Ffs 🤦

Two days later, I could have had Jealous Guy, Roxy Music cover… still not my cup of tea, but no - I had to have one of the worst novelty hits ever recorded…

Probs why I instinctively dislike nearly all 80s music 😂

Now this was a thread worthy of off a bump! I see myself going through this list and listening to a lot of great music tonight.

For me, Da ya think I’m sexy by Rod Stewart. Wish I could say it set the tone for my life.

Tower of Strength by Frankie Vaughan … which is nice as my mum loved Frankie Vaughan.

For a laugh, I had a look to see what was number one when I got married …

Save your Love by Renee and Renato

Mary Hopkins, Those were the days. Boo
US was Hey Jude. Yay
Fun facts:

It was Hopkin, not Hopkins. My next door neighbour was in the choir on it. It was the second recording released by The Beatles on Apple and produced by Macca himself.

Hey Jude was the first release on Apple. Produced by George Martin, but written by McCartney.
