Same here - the shirt worn to West Ham is going in the back of the wardrobeNo, wear your own thing. I have shirts I decide are "lucky" and then try to stick with them for a bit. That's about it.

I reckon your the Mr Benn of the Albion World, all those shirts must a nightmare to decide what to wearI remember that at Oldham, 2005? Leon Knight scored a pen, we debuted the all yellow shirt with just the black Seagull and Skint logo, no team badge? Yup, that was properly hot.
Blimey, what a contrast, Oldham in the ‘70’s was the coldest I’d ever experienced at a football match. Great pies though. That was the hottest i've ever been at a football match too!
I tend to wear my lucky meat suit, a la Lady Gaga.
I'm sure you managed to impress herBlimey, what a contrast, Oldham in the ‘70’s was the coldest I’d ever experienced at a football match. Great pies though.
Got well warmed up at my girlfriend’s when we got back to her house in Stockport.
Happy days.
Boundary Park can indeed be one of the coldest grounds in the UK (maybe second only to Arbroath!) O went there one freezing afternoon on the late 60s early 70s while I was at Liverpool Uni. Ground nearly empty, no sign of any blue and white. Then, half way round the ground from where i was, I spotted a couple oh lads with blue and white scarves (that is proper scarves, like the ones your mum would knit for you - six inches blue, six inches white, six inches blue, six inches white, repeat and rinse until she ran out of wool or got pissed off). Anyway, I made ny way over to them and said I was impressed they'd made their way up from Brighton to watch their dire team on a horrible day like this. And weirdly, its also where I've been the COLDEST at a game!
December 1990. We got hammered (6-1?). Wilkins scored a consolation free kick towards the end.
What p1sses me off are pubs that insist no vests and dont understand cap sleave isnt a vest. Worse allow women to dress in vest tops of all sorts but stop men in vests.
I have concluded it was my cap. Definitely the issue.Same here - the shirt worn to West Ham is going in the back of the wardrobe
To be fair men in vests is not a good look - unless you holiday in Benidorm & have an arm full of tats. What p1sses me off are pubs that insist no vests and dont understand cap sleave isnt a vest. Worse allow women to dress in vest tops of all sorts but stop men in vests.
Oldham away quite easily the coldest away match as well! FA cup tie 1990 (I think) went from a freezing but dry January day, to heaving down with rain, then hail and then blizzard within the space of 45 minutes. Never been as wet and cold in my life as that dayI remember that at Oldham, 2005? Leon Knight scored a pen, we debuted the all yellow shirt with just the black Seagull and Skint logo, no team badge? Snap! That was the hottest i've ever been at a football match too!
Its sexist that women can wear them not men and discriminativeTo be fair men in vests is not a good look - unless you holiday in Benidorm & have an arm full of tats.
