If the carrot of finishing above Palace was there (depending on tonight's result), i'd be disappointed if we didn't put the best team out.

There are plenty of carrots there:
Finish above Palace
Finish above Southampton - and be top south coast team for the first time ever
£2m per league position

Plus, just to keep our recent good form going and take it into next season. Since 14th March we are W4 D3 L2, which is decent enough and yet in truth we've been better than those bald results. We lost at Wolves and drew with West Ham both in the final few minutes as well as explicably losing in Sheffield.

Play our strongest team - but what is that? A few games ago we'd have been OK with Moder on the bench, now he looks undroppable.

Where do we place Trossard in the pecking order? - brilliant on his day, but not consistent. He was pretty anonymous in the first half when he came on yesterday, but he had one of his outstanding halves after half time. So what do we do - drop him for the next three and then bring him back for the fourth one because he'll be due another stormer by then? (yes, I know it doesn't work like that - but if we could find a way just to pick him when he's going to have one of his good days......)

And what's with Connolly? Did he actually storm off when he wasn't brought on as a sub last night? Sounded like it from the radio commentary.

I am sure we will pick a strong side and go for the win , for the reasons others mentioned.

I think there is a bit of needle between us and Arsenal on the pitch , probably caused by Maupay & Leno , so it is a pity our small fiery Frenchman will not be out there.

Depends on whether tonight’s results go our way.
If they do full strength, if not rotate and bring in debuts ahead of next season

Have not see any other posts about this comment - was the comment made on radio Sussex?

When Trossard was about to come on - Connolly was reported as storming up the tunnel. Whether for a pee (wasn't ready to possibly replace Welbeck but wasn't ready) or a strop, don't know.
Don't remember any further discussion on the subject from Cantor and Aspinall.

Full strength team. Would love to see Caicedo once we have 2 clear goals :)

Play a full strength team and try and finish as high up the table as we can, or give some fringe players games time, particularly in midfield in anticipation of needing to fill a Bissouma shaped void next season?

Does Dunk come back into the side? Would be a bit harsh to drop Burn or Moder based on their performances last night!
Bissouma will be with us next season!

He did seem to enjoy his jig in front of the fans singing his name. Wonder if he things I kind of like being the big man at a club that appreciates me rather than potential canon fodder at a 'big' club.

Win at all costa. Taking money from Palace would be so gratifying.
