Taking my whole family for the 1st time Saturday (I usually travel by train) but thought it would be a bit more family friendly doing park and ride. How long before game should we go and how long after do they go (to let crowds die down). Thanks for any help.

If you have fuel you may have an obvious advantage to go later. It’s normally full 1.5 hours before KO going by reports I’ve seen on here and via the club.

3:30pm to 4pm would be my view

Last match, albeit with plenty of extraneous circumstances, Mill Road was full 2 hours before kick off. To be certain I’d say 3.15pm. The racecourse is easier to leave and there appears to be more bus capacity, certainly runs smoother after the final whistle. Much less pressure to arrive hours before kick off.
