On A Level results day I cracked open the first can of super super Strongbow at 11

Earliest start was for the C & G final when I had a can of the super stuff at breakfast about 6!!

I never start before noon. Plenty of time left after that.

earliest I started was 4am for the WC in Korea , that was mental , be hammered in time for opening , have all dayer sometimes last the eve , then get up and do it all again

4am's a tricky one, tho. Technically it's still the night before the morning after. Especially if it's dark.

I adhere to a simple rule of thumb: if I'm at Gatwick airport and the Sports Bar's open, then it's not too early

the earliest I started was 8.30 am a few times on jollies to the football and racing, its quite fun getting pissed in the mornings

Rugby World Cup in 2003 was also a good reason for starting early. Seem to remember being in the King's Head in Rudgwick for cooked breakfast + Harveys well before 7am for one game and being totally pissed by about 10:30.
Incidentally, the KH was one of Ollie Read's regular haunts - the young girl he married used to live opposite.
