As the board went up. Just got on the 9.59, despite the efforts of morons attempting to jump in ahead of wheelchairs.

Left just after final whistle. Walked back to car at Coldean and home by 10:45. It was one of those games when you wish you hadn';t gone - I should have known better after the wisdom of a warm winter break !

Left on 90, joined the train queue at 9.40, got back to Brighton Station at 10.15.
Then a quick mince down to Churchill Square, a 1 to Portslade, walked through the door at 10.52. An hour and ten then. Not great, but I've had far worse. And I'm dry.

90’ just as Pedro didn’t shoot and the 3 additional minutes were added.

First time leaving early in a few seasons, dry January and the weather not helping the uninspiring performance.
I think Pedro cruyff turning himself to China was the final straw for most.

Was meeting some former work colleagues so eventually got the train around 10 50-ish. As two irregular watchers of the Albion they didn’t think the game was that bad so they eventually brought me round to their view (after I was gnashing my teeth for most of the 93 minutes). I was surprised to still see a stiff train queue even as late as that but a few obviously did stay for a beer and why not. Home 1130 via an unwise kebab

Left on the full time whistle. Queued for a couple of minutes at the ticket office to pick up my ticket for Saturday. Walked back to Hove. Home just after 11.

Back in East Sussex
In the bridge car park for the first time in years. Left on 85 minutes, ran there, drove straight out, listening to the last minute on Radio Sussex. It’s always a gamble if you leave early, but felt that was a success.
