What striker in on loan

There was some strong talk during the transfer window about Sebba Fernandez off malaga. He sits on the bench every game and gets the ocassional half hour or so. I thought at the time it was a bit of a long shot but there was genuine interest on both sides with malaga also happy to let him go to at least trim some of his wages down.

Wouldn't be shocked at all. Shame Baptista is out currently. But as you say they are financially stricken, Seba Fernandez is only coming on late in games and hasn't looked "at it" recently either. Would be a fantastic signing if motivated.

Only if our target is finishing lower than 6th and writing off the season.

Why? He can't be any worse than CMS!

What I've seen of him he's looked like a decent player. Admittedly I haven't see a great deal of him but that is down to him not getting in the side.

Two games stand out last season Peterborough and Palace away. His arrival made the difference and got us a win/draw.

Also what about Solly March or George Barker? What is the point of the stiffs if we're not going to use them when we get injuries.

Not to mention we've got Barnes to come back.

Ot wpuld be incredible if we got him but i'd definately go for him again. If not, a player like simeon jackson would be a shout. Good to see people suggesting John Guidetti aswell, i suggested him a while back and i think he'd score hat full's at this level

Are we allowed signings from overseas leagues in this loan window?

Didn't think they are allowed, but I'm not 100% sure.

At this stage in their careers Agdestein and Barker are not good enough unless we are settling for a mid table finish.

I'm 6'4 and 15 stone and therefore have the perfect attributes* to become our star target man should Ulloa need a rest.

You realise they were brought in as target men, i.e. Heskey type players to bring CMS etc into the game? Anyone who judges strikers like that solely on goals is being daft.

Sorry I normally agree, but thats complete tosh, Vokes usually replaced CMS and Woods didnt even play with CMS so im not sure who it was playing the 'heskey' role for? woods wasnt that bad when he was with us, although he couldnt win a header and looked a bit weak at times, obviously he has gone on to prove Gus wrong, but he wasnt a good loan signing for us at the time, at best he was ok.

Billy Painter. To be totally honest i'm more worried about a centre midfielder, Spanish Dave has been f***ing abysmal all season, maybe Marlon Pack or Hayden Mullins,

Clearly Poyet agrees with you, but then he didn't rate Murray and paid a ton of money for CMS (not to mention signings like Painter and Dobbie) so his history of strikers isn't great.

Couldn't comment about Barker (or March) as I'm not sure I've even seen the lad play.

Agdestein on the other hand has proved when given a chance he can hold his own at this level.

Not sure how these lads are supposed to develop if that don't get given a chance or aren't farmed out on loan to play first team football. I appreciate it's the business end of the season and probably not the time to be experimenting but we're now reliant on a lad who has been here 5 minutes and Barnes.
