yes, nice and all, but can we accpet that it will probably not be this. for one thing the club wouldnt own the copyright and its too much like the previous. they will go for somthing new.

I agree with this. If the club went with Mayfairs design, would he not own the copyright and if so could he not at a moments notice tell the club to stop using his design ?

Don't worry about any of that - if the club requested the use of my designs I'd arrange for copyright issues to be resolved.
