I suppose it has occurred to people that the picture is of the back of the pub (and car park), so identifying it from the front is nigh on impossible.

The OP should have asked 'can anyone identify this pub car park at the rear of the pub'...?

I thought it might have been the back of the Sportsman at Goddards Green but the car park looks wrong.

I lived in Jersey in the 80s........doesn't ring any bells.

OK Alfreston it is then. I dont know why this thread is so irritating, if NSC and Google cant solve it then maybe it doesnt exist in Sussex
