Although not talking about the Albion, Danny Murphy made an excellent point on MOTD Saturday, he spoke of when players lose confidence, doubts creep into their game along with a drop in energy levels. Not denying the second half improvement, but the players body language looked way off after Palace scored their first goal. We badly need a win and a performance soon.

Weiffer and Baleba alongside each other in a proper midfield pairing where one goes and one stays and the domination of the centre of the pitch is achieved. It was fine as a concept for the last 130 years.

I'd switch Rutter back to the right and get Enciso up close to Pedro.

Didn't Van Hecke play in midfield once for Roberto last season? Veltman also played there a little bit in the Ajax days.
Wouldn't be entirely against a similar curveball of some sort.
