When I was a teenager a good friend of mine tried to take his own life. I remember being told by his mum and the song Stay together by suede was playing on the radio, now whenever I hear the beginning to this track it sends a massive chill down my spine.

It’s funny how something as simple as a song can stir up such poignant memories.

I'm pretty sure no one will mention this. William Lloyd Webber (yes, father of the fugly brothers) was a conductor before WW" and wrote some beautiful English music. He was dismissed as a bit of a ham because at that time the pastoral style was a bit old news. He was a very famous conductor so didn't really get the recognition his composing deserved.

This is very beautiful and makes me tingle (sound quality could be better):

Interesting choice TRHK... I have learned and played some of his organ music, particularly the Arietta in A major, Andantino alla Cantilena and several of his hymn chorale preludes which are very rewarding.
