In Spain you get the increase AND the winter fuel allowance as well. I think it's only a few countries (South Africa?) where you don't get the increase these daysYou should be able to get it wherever you live; the problem comes with receiving an increase - and these do happen every year. Only certain countries have signed up to the policy that allows the increase in state pension to be paid to people who live overseas. If you live in a country that hasn't signed up you get the pension at the rate it was when you moved & then don't get any increase.
Not to mention the even longer queue once they get to the post office.
