z/OS Systems Programmer, with a bit of z/VM and z/Linux on the side - specialising in IBM mainframe networks, printing, and file transfer.

I'm rather disappointed I haven't been flooded with fellow NSCers needing a helping hand with a mainframe upgrade or something. :(

I rather suspect I among the least likely to be of any use to anyone on NSC.

FOR ALL THOSE WHO WORK FOR COMPANIES WITH AN EVENTS / MARKETING TEAM

http://www.partyforthepodium.com
I have developed an Event Experience with the nation's Olympic / Paralympic Athletes that is a great way for companies across the UK to show their support for their local athletes and help keep an Albion fan off the dole.

Party for the Podium (PFTP) , is an event experience created with and supported by over 800 Athletes and 17 sports agencies in the UK and US, at its heart is an interactive medal ceremony enhancing Athlete personal appearances (PA’s) for audiences and hosts alike. Over the last few months, we have demonstrated the formats ability to deliver extensive return on investment for event sponsors and hosts.

What we do:
• Operate the interactive 'Medal Ceremony' format at events.
• Creating a celebrity led, fully branded stage that generates attention from event audiences.
• Delivering the experience within the pre agreed budget.
• Source athletes (the format can be licensed to enhance existing planned Athlete personal appearances).
• Providing a choice of event photography options for organisers.
• Assisting you with any additional athlete requests.

Please forward the information to anyone you know who works in Events / marketing at your company.

See you at Ashton gate?

NCL, sitting here working hard in my office onboard the Norwegian Sun as I type this, alongside in Helsinki at the moment.

Right, back to work!

Serious question...discounted cruises?

PS: I was in Helsinki in June... couple of wicked cruisers were harboured up.
