What is your Signature dish, Cooks ?

I cook plenty, do almost all the cooking between me and the missus.

My signature dish is a ballotine of chicken, stuffed with pork, parsley and thyme. Red wind jus (pwopa wanky) and pomme purée (mash). French food is delightful.

I'd cook it for no celebrity though.

Made this a few times in the past month, brilliant recipe. Nigella would be my guest, she would dress suitably attired and bring the squirty cream and strawberries for dessert. Or we could skip the chicken and go straight for the squirty cream.

I would cook Stephen Spielberg a pasta bake with sweetcorn, tuna and cheese sauce.

Starter of stuffed portobello mushroom filled with ricotta cheese, and baked in the oven. Followed by a main course of lamb shank, with oregano gravy, mashed potato and baby cabbage. Desert would be a chocolate pot. I think a nice fruity Italian red such as barolo would drink well with the meal.

Even ignoring the fact that he wouldn't eat the ingredients you have so thoughtfully used, I'm somewhat surprised that you would go to as little effort as a pasta bake for your HERO. I used to make those as a student. It's one up from a pot noodle which is itself one up from a cup a soup.

I'd have thought you'd have known all this, what with you having started an ambitious Spielberg project way back last year. Or are you not close to finishing that yet?
