As i am quite a novice when it comes to using my I phone, can I ask you how you set those folders up ? I have apps all over the place

Yep, easy. Press and hold any of them until they wiggle then move one over the other (something relevant like sky sports over bbc sports). The phone will then construct a folder and title it something (like 'Sports). You can edit the title of the folder to anything you want by typing something else in there instead.
