Simples, what is your favourite type of goal scored - doesn't matter who is playing or what standard it is, or even if its just you kicking the ball in your mind/back garden

A last minute winner for the team you're supporting.

Just to illustrate my point...

Alright, so it wasn't actually a last minute winner, but it was a last-minute goal which paved the way for victory....OK OK, I admit it, it's just a cheap excuse to watch that clip again.

Poll or no poll, there is no better kind of goal than that.

Although there are loads of those that I would choose, I had to go for a headder.

I do like a nice BULLET header I do! (not that Ive acctually scored a header)

pointless final push or needless blast over the line of ball already going in, by greedy cnt striker, that you know will cause a row in the bar afterwards.

One which provokes a gobby ball boy to punch the air in delight, right in front of a really pissed off defender.

For me, it's gotta be the audacious long-range CHIP. I call it The McDermott.

I like ones that have LOADS of build-up, beating defenders in the box, toying with them, before finally, at long last, they whack it in the net, a bit like that one Zamora scored away at Huddersfield. By the time it goes in you feel like you've been cheering for AGES.

I love it when the keeper scores. Paul Robinson's goal against Watford the other year was a cracker.

I really love looping headers where a player moves their body opposite direction to where the goal is, gets contact on the ball and it loops over the goalie into the far corner. Southend's 1st goal against us a few weeks ago was a fine example. I wasn't celebrating of course but what a fine goal.
