Pints ....Guinness.....Spirits....great Brandy drinker that I am...do love a Vodka and Red Bull...or a Gin and Tonic if it is a Non Alkie drink it has to be diluted water.....

A decent pint of well kept real Ale. In this neck of the woods (and bearing in mind that I am lucky to get the pub once a month) a pint of Harvey's Best/Old/Tom Paine/anything of their really will do.

I had one of those the other night for the first time. Quite nice, but reminded me a bit of lager & lime.

As for my FAVE drink at the moment...its a toss-up between fresh orange juice with ice cubes and bits in, or Cherry Tango.

I've only recently discovered Cherry Tango, and its cuffing dee-LISH.

If you suddenly start gaining weight it may be the cherry tango. I Noticed a 500ml bottle was 52% of daily sugar recommendation.

My tipples of choice seem to be more seasonal / influenced by the temperature (or occasion) than simply sticking to a particular drink:

Guinness, or the exellent Hepworth Stout when it's chilly.
Red wine - a Rioja or Chianti usually with a meal when it's chilly
White wine - an NZ Sauvingon Blanc, or an Aussie Riesling with a meal when it's hot (or when sharing a bottle with the missus as she's not a fan of red)
Cider - can't beat an ice cold pint in a sunny pub garden. Not a fan of Magners though.
Gin & tonic - a good, refreshing change when full up on pints, or an alternative to cider in the sun
Beer - rapidly going of lager and onto IPAs, particularly some of the american ones - Goose Island and the likes. I think it's the start of the aging process as I move towards real ales...

A single can contains 9% of the days sugar apparently. I don't have a can *every* day, but by 'eck I does enjoys it when I do's.
