Get a life Dough boy. You know Ibiza is a dump and full of pissed or pilled up chav's getting the crap kicked out of them by Scottish lads.

Corfu was pretty poor apart from Corfu Town which was nice

Admittedly when we went Chavs werent invented so they have probably bought the place down a lot, but I would still rather go there for a week than anywhere else in the world. (notice I said week coz if I had longer then New Zealand would be the place)

What's so wrong with Slovakia? I really enjoyed my time there - beautiful country, beautiful people. I thoroughly recommend Levoca - a great place. And don't forget to go hiking in the mountains in the east of the country - stunning.

As I said on the thread about the best places we've been to, the worst place I've been to is China (except Xinjiang, which was wonderful - except for the fascist police, of course). A thoroughly racist society (with glorious exceptions, naturally).

Went to Egypt for the day and I loved it. It was like a different world to anywhere I'd ever been before. And what was the highlight of the trip you ask?? Well catching the night boat to Cairo of course!!

Location, Location
Republic of Ireland. Stayed in Dublin for a weeks once.

Got mugged of all my cash on my second day there by some junkies. It rained the whole time. Every f***ing pub, shop, library, restaurant, you name it - they sold Guinness.

There were Guinness billboards every fifty yards, every shop was packed full of Guinness related gifts and products and during a visit to the Guinness factory (not my idea) we watched a short film which, and I'm barely exaggerating here, basically presented Guinness as the saviour of mankind, the solution to third world poverty and hunger, the answer for world peace, a greater invention than the wheel or electricity, and the solution to any other international or domestic problems ever that have not already been mentioned above.

Oh, and you know how everyone says that ALL Irish people are ultra-friendly and say hello to people they don't know? Its one of the biggest myths of all time. I didn't find them friendly in the slightest. I found Scots to be far, far friendlier when I visited Edinburgh.

Sussex, by the sea
as a 'wealthy' western business traveller I experienced the lap of luxury in India, but anyone who goes there to be poor must be f***ing mad, the place stinks and is just a giant rubbish tip (nice people though, apart from the rich ones !!!

Wales is probably the worst, and some parts of Northern England

always had a good time in Romania despite the state of the place, Ireland, Norway, France, Italy, Germany, USA (StLouis, Detroit, Grand Rapids) are all good, just depends on which bits you go to I guess, Cincinnatti was a hole (what little I saw of it)

More cities than countries ... Portugal and Peru are great, but I thought Lisbon and Lima were dumps. Although beating Croatia made the former somewhat more bearable.

Personally, I thought Belgium was pretty f***ing dull but I didn't go to any of the cities, just drove through it for ages watching the never ending sequence of flat fields fly past my window.

Wasn't keen on Mexico wither but would be unfair to say it is the worst country seeing as I only spent a day in a border town and it is only shit cos it sooooooooooo very poor which isn't really there fault.

Malta. The entire country was dull as dogshit and covered in a layer of dust when I first went there fifteen years ago - and was exactly the same when I went back there last year. Full of whingeing British pensioners who go out there for months on end and stay in shit couldnt-care-less hotels for four quid a night - then spend all their time moaning about some old biddy they just met who is staying in an equally shit hotel for THREE quid a night.

Although technically part of the US, Hawaii. Overrated and expensive tourist trap. Also a magnet for the very worst type of American tourist.

Some poor countries do not make them bad places. I enjoyed going through the shanti towns in the Dominican Republic as I found how they survived very interesting. Places like Mexico are classed as poor countries but I would love o go back there as well
