Could have sworn it was 5-5... happy to concede to 5-4 though!
Anyways Johnny Crumplin defo got the fifth, and Clive Walker scored a hat trick

From memory, which can be shakey, for me it would be the 7-2 over York in the Peter Ward/Spider Mellor era.

I saw that one too - wasn't it on MOTD?

Indeed it was, we had a few on MOTD at the time. We were a free scoring team that got quite a bit of tv attention in those days, suprisingly, seeing as were a 3rd (league 1) division team at the time. Shame MOTD doesn't go outside the top division any more.

Staue Bucharest was the best game I ever saw at the albion closely followed by the England U21 game where we won 5-1?

That 8-2 home defeat to Bristol Rovers.

Brighton 3 - 5 Charlton in about 1984
Brighton 6 - 2 Torquay United in 2000
Brighton 8 - 0 Northwich Victoria

Didn't go to the Sheffield United 5 - 4 Brighton match in 1989.

Saw all of them. :clap2:

and the Sheffield beer festival in the evening - nine goals and much :drink::drink::drink: afterwards

Saw the 10-1 Wisbech, and the 9-1 Southend games in 65/6.

Just off to collect me pension.

An amazing few weeks. Was it really that long ago? There was also a big (8-0?) reverse at Northampton back then that I remember..................

Too far from the sun
One of my first games was the 8-2 loss to Bristol Rovers. One of my youngest daughter's first games was us beating Northwich Victoria 8-0. Also there for 7-2 v York, 7-0 v Walsall (all in the 2nd half). I think I also saw us lose 5-3 at home to Cardiff once - if I remember rightly (probably not, though) we were 5-1 down and got back to 5-3 with still a fair bit of time to go, so we even dreamed of getting a point!
