My mum and dad do the lottery all the time, and have never won more than a tenner or so.

Don't know why they bother really, but then again, maybe some day we will win it.

Any NSCers who have won millions? ???

Interesting phraseology! It's 'my mum and dad do the lottery' when you are talking about them only picking up a tenner but if the jackpot came up it's suddenly 'we' !!!!

August 2007,Palace beat Southampton 4-1 away on the opening day of the season, got home and won £450 on the hot picks.

Ex girlfriend got 5 numbers with a syndicate and won £1200,there were twelve of them that shared it.

interestingly I had never won more than a tenner until recently when my other half and I went on a "run" with those rich for life scratchcards...we won well over £200 in a week just buying two every day and agreeing we would stop as soon as both of us got a miss.

It ended yesterday.

boo.

my old syndicate missed out on 6 numbers on midweek draw as we only did the Saturdy draw. Midweek draw had only just started and some couldn't afford £2 a week :US:
Mate's younger brother won £100,000 on scrathcard and didn't tell him. He only found out 6 months later, they weren't close.

.

Gutting. That's the problem with playing the same numbers every week, if you miss a week or they come up in a different draw then it feels like you've lost that money.

I do £3 a week of lucky dips online by direct debit. I don't want to know the numbers, I only want to know if I've won. I've had a few tenners from that.
