Would have gone for beef and I can take or leave roast pork, but bacon and sausages.....the ultimate meat, so pork it is.

With honourable mention for pigeon breasts, roast lamb and pink duck (not in orange).

I love Venison, especially in posh sausage and mash.

Howver I also love roast Lamb with rosemary.

Chicken is so versatile to cook with -where would half your Indian cuisine be without it?
My personal favourite is Chicken slow roasted with 30 cloves of garlic - a sublime dish

And a well seasoned rare fillet steak, seared but still oozing blood is THE meat taste sensation

BUT, given the bacon, ham, sausage and black pudding arguments advanced elsewhere it must be Mr Porky Pig for his versatility:thumbsup:

Bloody hell, I've just realised I'm starving!

Beef of course. A nice thick medium-rare steak.

Beef innit, closely followed by pork.

That was my initial reaction and it's how I've voted, but I'm not sure now. Bacon and sausages are pretty bloody good.

Steaks and burgers Vs Bacon and sausages

Roast beef Vs Belly of Pork & crackling, it's too close to call.

That sums up my feelings and vote EXACTLY.

Photo finish gives beef the win from pork with lamb a length behind.
