Better than not reaching 56!
very true . . . . My old man didn't.
Anyway, 50 is the new 30 (with a few creaks)
at least that's what I'll tell myself at the end of July. . . .in the interim I'm still in my 'mid 40's'
Better than not reaching 56!
The age categories overlap causing inevitable confusion. What a poorly-constructed, ill-conceived piece of work.
Depends what you mean by old gits. When I was 20 anyone who was thirty was REALLY old. I am now a proper old git but I don’t feel like one even if I certainty look like one and my body is nowhere near as willing
I’d say you are an old git, at whatever age, if you grunt when sitting down or getting up
Since it appears no one else can be arsed, or find the last poll asking this and there's a few hours to kill before 8.00
I turned 56 a couple of weeks ago. I don't like it
Out of interest why is 56 worse than 55 ?
I’m 54 so am now getting worried.
Anybody under 50 on here is a JCL
56 today!!
Day off, bottle of fizz and a steak later would be nicely topped off by beating those rancid tramps from up the road.

What if you straddle two of the age groups?
I know, right? WATFORD zero you had one job.........
Also, this is where Swansman realises he's been chatting to the inhabitants of the local old people's home for the last 18 months.
Who'd have thought that (on the current numbers) two-thirds of NSC users would be over 45...?
Trust me, I've noticed all the grandpa tendencies quite a long time ago...
