I have never considered Bournemouth as a derby or even a close rival.

Spot on, it's approx 90 miles away.

Charlton is the club closest to us in the Championship distance wise.

Bournemouth are probably the closest to rivals we have due to sharing local TV highlights for some time.

However there is just one rivalry - and we won't see them again until next season.

Shirly Millwall is closer than Charlton

None of these. Palace and Pompey are our only derbies.

For me, Pompey is our one true derby. This Palace rivallery was manufactured back in the 1970's. We have much more in common with a club and a city like Portsmouth, than we do with anyone from south London.

Pompey, you know?, Portsmouth, 40 miles down the road, plenty of "action" in the past.

Used to better away days than Palace IMO back in the day.
