it never ceases to amaze me the faith that posters on this board have in its counsel and guidance.

over the years, i'm sure that i've seen it used as:

a relationship counsellor
an i.t. help desk
a travel agent
a general practitioner
an employment lawyer

and occasionally a football forum.

As a seach engine for anything some one always knows a site, a way of keeping in contact with certian people, for fun, If you want to buy something just ask and someone will give you a review. Oh nd a bus timetable and taxi times and a taxi if you understand what I mean.

Also, whilst at work, it does kind of look like a work related software package, to the untrained eye of course and from about 10 feet away

Nestling in green nowhere
A place to come and feel left out of a club.

Occaisionally very funny, frequently informative, Often antagonistic and sometimes dull.

Just like life really.

Hove, f***ing ACTUALLY.
Yes, like this afternoon when I know I have to work till about 4 on a project that is already finished, I can turn faithfully to NSC/P to ensure that the afternoon goes quickly.

Its those that log on night after night, some with families who should take a hard look at their exsistances (although not too hard, dont want some VT masacre in deepest Sompting).

Just realized I've probably wasted another week of my life posting pointless drivel on here....so maybe I should examine my own existence!

The democratic and free EU
A leafy glade lit with dappled sunlight, and a host of small furry woodland creatures frolicking in the summer evening warmth. One one side a young lady with pigtails and a gingham dress sits plucking a natty tune on a tired old banjo. On the the other her elderly blind grandfather is reaching out to grab at invisible butterflies - small flecks of dribble are lodged in his long white beard.

The air is filled with the scent of freshly baked bread...

I presume this is the only message board you frequent then Mr B!?!?!?!?!

No, but it’s the only one with the sort of breadth of topics and characters. I go on others for bands I like and things like that but they never hold my attention – I’m geeky, but can’t say I enjoy message boards generally. No point trying to be all cool about it, from an objective point of view NSC must be one of the best.
