After watching the news and seeing the WANKERS out in the Algarve trying to smash up that bar with chairs after the waiters had locked it up because they feared for their safety and the twats goading the police with chants of 'who are ya' it made me wonder exactly why Britain seems to be overrun with idiots hell bent on causing damage of some kind every time they go out on the beer.

I sincerely hope all those guys who felt the need to attack the bar are severely dealt with and get to spend a few months locked up in a Portugese jail and those who did goad the police got a few strikes of the baton. I'm sorry for all those who did get caught up in the violence and may be arrested for taking little or no part in the violence but as a country we are always trying to clean up our image and reclaim the flag and be proud to fly the cross of St George but unfortunately these ***** completely ruin that for us and this morning I am not proud to be English.

Police need to drop rubber bullets and start using real ones, that'll put the shits up the thugs who incite trouble or throw chiars and the like!

They have to be careful to miss those innocent brighton supporters who are in the wrong place at the wrong time though.

Shit I feel a ban coming on :lolol:

Thing is Police abroad are much more tougher towards anti-social behaviour, whether the culprits are members of that country or not they get the batons out and show the bastards whose boss! Thats what the UK Police need to start doing, showing the larger louts that if you put a foot wrong you will get a kicking and deservedly so.
The Law & Order system in this country seems to be tits up and you can get away with minor offences pretty easily...but thats another argument!

You see, I got to thinking last night that I was sounding a little bit too like a old man when i was wondering what I thought should be done to those who cuase 'anti social behaviour' and concluded that we should start taking the hard line before it gets even more out of hand.

Then the story about those people setting a bloke on fire came on and I thought that they should ber burned alive so they can see what it feels like.

Like for like punishment, that's what I say. You hit some, you get hit 50 times or summat.

I f***ing hate LOUTS.

Incidentally, why is it always the PM who condemns these morons? As head of state, I'd like to see the queen actually come out and say the same - and make it clear to these numpties that they're not behaving like that in her name.

that is one way but the human rights hippies (DIE HIPPIE DIE) will have a field day with that! In some middle eastern countries they chop fingers/hands off for stealing and stuff...that would be good!
Personally I think the problem lies in the governments uslessness towards prisons. "Too over crowded" people say "lets stick tags on people then" the government say "Make Prisons BIGGER" is what I say! Create more low level prisons for minor offences and soon the thug society will realise that if they break the law they WILL get severly punished and not some pathetic £50 fine or 10 hours community service crap.

I agree with you totally !! Why is it people believe it is ok to act in this way...? Also all this crap, singing about the war etc....it is an embarressment to our country. We should be proud of our country, but we should show some humilty and respect to the hundreds of thousands of people who died. I expect that most of the idiots that chant such garbage actually have no idea as to the sacrifices made.

Well most of those deported, will today get tugged by the OB at the airport, have their details taken and can expect further action. There is definetly a 3 year ban from the Englandfans thing if you have a conviction within the last 5 years and I think if it is football related you are not allowed in, meaning that getting tickets becomes harder. Also the OB will probably push for the banning order that means they have to give up their passport when England play abroad, length is up to the court and if they feel a domestic banning order is necessary they will issue one, probably a 3 year one.

If the person in question is a repeat offender, then yes they should get a life ban, but for instance the lad from Burgess Hill, if this is first offence, surely a medium term one is the way forward as society preaches rehabiltation?

I realise that this is going to make me sound old AND hypocritical (given my state after the last DAFT Bints outing!) but the peculiar need of the British to get HOGWHIMPERINGLY drunk in order to "enjoy" themselves has got to have a bearing on things.

There's a an enormous difference between "having a lot to drink" and having so much to drink that you lose all rational thought. The current "football hooliganism" in Portugal may well not look a deal different to the depressingly regular "loutishness" that accompanies the average Saturday night out pretty much anywhere in this country. But when you add hogwhimpering drunkenness to what Adam Trimingham described very well in the Argus this week as "perverted patriotism" there's a kind of inevitability about things. Why should a small minority of England fans think it's acceptable to sing about a war that ended 59 years ago? What impression does this give of England's so-called "national pride"? People from other European countries have an unquestioned pride in their nation but they don't need to take small towns in Portugal apart in order to prove it. Which is kind of where I came in....because the British drinking culture has got to have some sort of influence.

I agree, however having been in the armed services I am surte they may have to follow like anyone else using live fire arms some form of rules of engagement.

Unless these pricks are threatening someones life I dont think theyll be able to do this
