Long Sault, actually....
I've just been browsing through some of the most pointless and utterly crap fuelled threads and I just want to know what is going on with NSC right now? I know the football season hasn't started yet, but approx. 75% of all threads created are a complete and utter waste of space, mostly created by new-ish posters who obviously have no clue about anything.

I remember when threads had real meanings and discussions between posters were civil and they had respect for each other. Nowadays it seems everybody is fair game for being vilified no matter what they post.

Perhaps it's just me getting old.!!!!

Sign of the times mate, I tend to slack off over the closed season and just look out for Albion news etc. If you want to cofuse the new posters just use words of more than one syllable, that should do it.:albion2:

Agreed. I remember when NSC was required viewing and used to check in all the time when I was at work but now I ration it to maybe two or three times a day or later at night when you get the global seagulls coming on line. It ain’t just new posters either - a lot of the old ones seem to be on a mission to submit endless comments on the most banal threads. These guys need to remember that even at the busy times there are only ever a couple of hundred people viewing - they seem to think there are thousands of readers eagerly anticipating their next pearls of wisdom. Fraid not - it’s just one of many, many messageboards competing for attention.

As much as we don't like doing it, a lot of bans have been handed out in the last few days to try to keep things on an even keel.

Ultimately NSC reflects the wit and wisdom of Albion fans, and at present both seem to be in short supply.

A fair and valid point. I commented out some of the letters as I didn't want to be too controversial. But I guess it's a sign of the times to use profanity to get a point across. Consider my wrist slapped.

Let's face facts here - you do NOT remember when "people were civil to each other" on the internet - we are not talking 'the good old days' here, posters always got lairy and loads of threads were trite - especially in the out-season for football when there were less threads involving recent games/players/events.

As is often the case, your thread has added to, if not superseded the crapness of threads, and this post has now bounced it.

Now post a thread about football or something pertinent (and yes, keep the language down) :shootself

I've just closed a collection of Fabregas's finest sh*t threads... they should be off the first page very soon.

I wasn't on here last night, and having had a look at Fab's threads, I';ve decided to delete them... there literally is nothing to see there. :tosser:

Right... I've left 1 of his on here (Arsenal to win the league), for old times sake. the rest are gone, gone, gone.

Please try and play nicely, kids.
