I was in Wetherspoons earlier for some breakfast and I ordered it with a pint of lager top to wash it down.
While I was waiting for my change from the LOVELY Polish barmaid the chap next to me said Lager Top was a POOFS drink

That looks good ... although it doesn't actually say where it is.

FWIW, every time I've been in a gay bar, everyone seems to be drinking (expensive) bottled beer - not a lager top in sight.

No one seriously uses the term Poof/Poofter any more.

Breakfast sould be accompanied by something more gentle and palatable but butch at the same time.

Dubonnet + lemonade or Campari + soda is much more like it.
