In the big picture I'm not bothered by right wing Tories or Farage, they're an irrelevance moving forward. Whilst the others commit mass murder, wage illegal wars, are antisemites, have no morality in the planet being destroyed.

I'd add anyone trophy hunting, I'd celebrate their early deaths.

Very much of the thought of many on here that people don't operate as single entities and get to have a devastating global effect so removing headpiece individuals would be largely pointless.

Saying that there is one evil organisation that was completely reliant on an individual to succeed in making our lives worse. Remove Wilfried Zaha from Palace history and it's a completely different story where we leave them in the dust.

Nigel Fararge

and for consideration

Xi Jinping
Narendra Modi
I don’t know about people but I’ve exercised my right to remove this thread from by display owing to its pointless nature 👍

Really? You do know newspaper circulations are in terminal decline and tiny compared to social media? Kids main source of news is TikTok. That’s what should be worrying you. And btw, if your fantasy social liberal had bought The Sun then no-one would have read it
I stand by what I said. The media in this country over a period of decades have done immeasurable damage. And Murdoch is at the heart of it. He wouldn't be entering Downing Street by the back door if that wasn't the case. And he himself said it was.

As for social liberal owners, ask gay people what life was like in the 70s and 80s when The Sun ran vicious campaigns against them, especially during the AIDS crisis. That's just the tip of it. The government does not run this country, it is ran by big business and media. It's always was. Government by headlines. The Daily Mail makes something an issue. The government makes it the issue.

When, like all of us, you walk to the polling booth at the next election and feel some sense of self-importance, don't think for 1 minute that this is where the influence lays. Buy a newspaper with a huge online influence or run a huge and crucial business and you will have power.

Why are the government so obsessed with the Rwanda policy ? because the media just won't let it go.

Removed now, or removed at birth?

Removing Farage and Johnson now wouldn't make a jot of difference, and if removing at birth, surely Hitler needs to be on that list.
Very good points I was thinking they needed to be still alive but as you say atonement for past sins well yes a crime is always a crime if left unpunished

Absolutely a dangerous line of thinking. As others have pointed out, the individuals you mention are the tip of a political movement, while I would agree that they have reached preeminent positions due to a blend of populist instincts and superficial charm, there’s nothing to say that removing the visible head wouldn’t allow something even worse to bubble to the surface.

Equally, I have to say that while you (and frankly, I) find some of these individuals personally distasteful, they have each enjoyed strong followings at some point in their lives.

Admittedly each enjoyed greater followings before their ideas were tested in reality than they have enjoyed afterwards, but nonetheless they represent people’s genuinely held political views. How far do you go down the road of deciding who’s a wrong ‘un and where’s the cut off point for ‘removing’ them.

I will not be providing a hit list of people I disagree with on a football forum, a little bit of tolerance of those with differing beliefs is much needed, however strongly you disagree with them.
I have to agree that your argument is very sound

I check the news every morning hoping to see either Trump and/or Putin have shuffled off their mortal coil.
