What if it were Leeds, Millwall or Cardiff?

There were 20,000 there yesterday, what percentage of that number do you think would be remotely interested in starting a fight, whether with Leeds, Palace, Pompey or any other club?

for example; against palace, hot tempered match, dodgy decisions, wind up songs,........around 4.6% (excludes the "come on then" type people - then we are reaching 53.8%).

to be honest, it is all new - so i think it will need to "kick off" once to then know the drivers - maybe a ramp up or drill "aggro" event at the amex? :lolol:

A filtering system at Fratton and South Bermondsey train stations of locking gates allowing home or away fans to catch their train works well. Hampshire and Metropolitan OB have got it well organised.

As I stood on the bridge in the relatively short queue to catch a train towards Lewes, I looked down on the literally thousands of people queing for a train to Brighton, the queue was a mixture of the blue of the Albion and the red of Donny Rovers. The Donny fans whilst obviously crestfallen were well behaved and there still seemed plenty of banter between the two sets of fans.

However, it crossed my mind, what would have happened if we had beaten Leeds, Millwall, Cardiff or a number of other Championship sides, with their full allocation of 2,500 fans, with a goal in the 98th minute.

How are the fans going to segregated when we play teams with a reputation. I can't see that you can keep the away fans in the ground when it takes the best part of an hour to get the home fans onto transport and part of the club's strategy for easing the burden on transport is to ask the home fans to stay in the ground and carry on drinking.

I'm sure there must be a plan. Any ideas on what it might be?

Plenty of police there yesterday with nothing to do, think you'll find their heavies will be brought in for the games you have highlighted, that's a certainty !!

Having got that train at South Bermondsey loads of times I have yet to witness any problems. The station is always packed, always mixed and even when we've beaten them, it's been fine.
