The most curious thing..
Just ordered some more onion sets for autumn sowing

Next week I shall mostly be making (home grown) beetroot chutney

figs the size of cats, almonds, grapes, and pomegranits (sp).

andalucia mountains grow anything u throw in the ground.

Try them halved and griddled with slices of halloumi cheese. It's a sweet/salt taste sensation.

I love those contrasts that aren't considered normal fare.
I tried garlic paste and strawberry jam on toasted crumpet, and it was really alright.

Let's face it, tomatoes are fruity but it's usual to eat meat with them, and a great Jamaican dish has shrimps fried with sugar & sprinkled with grated coconut

2 good sized tubs of hand picked blackberries. Tried growing courgettes in the garden (waste of time) and 2 tomato plants which yielded 1 f**king tomato. Before you ask everything was watered and cared for.
