What have you eaten this year from what you have grown/picked yourself?

Coriander (complex, that...), a small number of tomatoes and a ridiculous load of apples and raspberries. Should be some pears along too.

There's also a fig tree in the greenhouse but I don't like figs...

Not me personally but my dad grew some spring onions, radishes, lettuce and tomatoes in his new patch in the garden. Treat!

The most curious thing..
I'll understand if you won't say as they're as rare as rocking horse do do but where did you find a crab apple tree ?

Plums, beetroot, potatoes, leeks, carrots, quince, various herbs, onions, gooseberries, blueberries, no apples at all this year despite the blossom, there should be some parsnips there somewhere if I can find them, brussel sprouts when they sprout, but I think the broccolli bolted.

Sweet peppers, chillies, cucumbers, tomatoes, beetroot (loads), lettuce, spring onions, leeks, strawberries, raspberries (poor crop this year), blackberries, rhubarb, apples ( Bramleys and Pippins), potatoes, some peas (not brilliant but have never grown them before) and various herbs.
Had some grapes and figs that we picked in central Spain last week whilst helping with the harvest, may go back for some olive picking in a couple of months.

Tomatoes...ended up throwing them away by the bagful as we had so many
Carrots
lettuce
courgettes
runner beans
dwarf french beans
beetroot
spring onions
red and white onions
strawberries
cucumbers
peppers
chillis
salad and early spuds
peas
mangetout.

Most of the stuff did very well but i never grew a succession of anything so my season was over quite quick. Strawberries were awesome as were the carrots, cucumbers and spuds.

Most of the stuff was grown in pots and large tubs but next year i will hopefully be ripping up a bit of (unused) patio and growing stuff in the ground as well as in tubs.

I'll have a much bigger greenhouse too.

I'm looking to pick mushrooms as the season is almost upon us. Just avoid the lethal ones like Fly Agaric and Death Cap from my book. There's some good mushrooms about usually.

I`ve just had a bowl of blackberry and apple crumble (with walnut ice cream)thanks to Vegster and his sterling efforts, who has had his hands on my plums this year....... thousands of small golden ones.
I have 20kg of them in the freezer. Wine, crumbles and chutneys I suppose.

Steamed curly cale, baby carrots, runners and last of the peas to go with todays roast.

Roasted/boiled new potatoes we grew. Used Pak Coi in stir frys along with home grown garlic. Loads of cherry toms so mixed with home grown basil and feta and made delish puff pastry tarts.

Best of all was last weekend, when we were away and my teenage son polished off a bowl of cooked beetroot from the garden and then ended up at A&E cos he thought he was "bleeding" after going to the loo! Ha Ha

Biggest success definitely salad leaves and cucumbers. Haven'y bought any for last couple of months.
