I know Pardew has a reputation fro being a streaky manager but that is a remarkably poor run of form. It's not too far off that of Villa's and they are one of the three worst premier league teams I can remember(along with Derby and Sunderland). If they had gone on this run at the start of the season he would 100% have been sacked by now. It'll be interesting to see how long he lasts next year if their form doesn't improve drastically, cup win or not.

Fantastic first XI, absolutely no squad depth. We desperately need an overhaul in the Summer, clear out some of the shite (McCarthy, Hennessey, Lee, etc.) and sign replacements of comparable quality to our first team. We've looked like worldbeaters at times this season with Bolasie, Zaha, Wickham and Cabaye on the pitch, but if we're missing one or two of those we look totally unbalanced. Not having a decent keeper has cost us upwards of 10 points this season.

Still, Premier League survival and an FA Cup final is a decent season for us. It is, unfortunately, the first time we haven't improved our league position relative to the previous year under CPFC2010, but the cup final makes up for that.
