I had Patrick Keegan King, Puma Dalglish and my favourite ever boots, these Le Coq Sportif books with eight studs on each boot.

Used to get mine from Glover and Flowers sports, Worthing. There was also Tarring sports near West Worthing station.

Patrick Milano was my first boots but I played in a pair of Gold coloured Umbro boots for about ten years much to my Dad's displeasure (boots should be black and shined before every game)

Not sure they had branded names in my day, but they looked more like rugby boots and covered my ankles.

My favourites were Patricks, but they didn't make me play like Kevin Keegan - more like Paddy, the fat bloke in the Dog and Duck.

Looked good though.

Patrick with the two stripes near the heel, the first boots available with aluminium studs in the late 70s. And for harder pitches, adidas, moulded with 27 studs.
