I was pondering that the other day, funnily enough.

I'm one of those people whom will watch a film on TV, despite having the DVD.

I can't sit still for two hours now (not piles), so I rarely watch films, but it has got to be one of the Bonds, Indiana Jones or Star Wars collections (or possibly Ghost).

It's weird that isn't it? I do it too. Ooh so and so is on (seen it countless times, own the dvd). Seems fresher as well, just because you happen to caught it going out live.

Possibly Master & Commander. It appears to be the default movie in certain company and circumstances.

In my student days we pretty much had The Blues Brothers and National Lampoon's Animal House on repeat on the video player, so probably seen those over 100 times apiece. Although I've only seen them 7 or 8 times since graduation 30 years ago.

But I still watch Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid at least once a year. Probably seen it getting on for 50 times now and never get tired of it.

'Zulu' or the 'Dads Army' movie - watched so many times, know what happens, but for me these are great 'comfort' movies on a day off when it's cold outside and I'm nice and toasty inside.
