He's only in the team because he used to captain a team - if it wasn't for that he has NOTHING positive going for him. Rubbish.

No need to apologise! I thought I would play on the mistake. Thompson did impress me and seems he was highly rated at Morecambe.

I have defended Thomson in the past, but he was very poor today. It does not help when the whole unit is not cohesive and everyone is being closed down with very few options. We seem to be distinctly lacking in movement and the players are too keen to offload. We almost look scared.

Thomson has a wonderful ability to run away from the ball and make himself un-available for a pass, from a team-mate.

Just because he was captain of some Scottish pub team, shouldn,t give him the automatic right to pull on a Brighton shirt.

Quite the most cowardly an in-effective midfielder I,ve ever seen.

Hallelujah, at last there are others who can see what an ineffective midfielder Thomson is. I wouldn't call him a coward he just isnt very good. Livermore wasn't much better but I think at least he has potential. Thomson is toilet.
