You have finally managed to surpass your naivety in all football related matters
Well done einstein, perhaps because this is the first time I've been allowed to vote.

ITV chiefs are bracing themselves for a huge backlash after Britain's Got Talent judge Simon Cowell publicly backed the Tories.
The multi-millionaire used the pages of a downmarket right-wing newspaper to come out for David Cameron.

Daily Mail have been anti Labour for years, ever since the Iraq war but have always been undeclared whom they support

But they are also against the idea of a hung parliament which suggests then are pro conservative
I believe that Cameron is taking 'donations' from Rupert Murdoch (who owns the Sun among other Tory supporting papers).
In return Cameron has agreed to 'take a look' at the BBC charter and other such measures that could appear to help Sky increase share in UK.
Murdoch wants Cameron to shut down or restrict half the BBC outlets - especially the ones that are in competition with his commercial empire.
More than just "donations". It's a whole web of corrupt practice.
Murdoch wants Cameron to shut down or restrict half the BBC outlets - especially the ones that are in competition with his commercial empire. He wants the BBC website no longer to carry the comprehensive (free) material that it currently does. Reason? He wants his media websites to be able to charge punters for what they won't buy at the moment.
Murdoch is simply buying the support of a future Tory government. And he's getting it cheap.

The Sun had ALWAYS been pro Conservative until the 1997 election when the Conservative government was in such a mess that even its most ardent multi millionaire supporters had had enough. They publicly backed the Labour party as it was very clear they'd win the 1997 election by a landslide and there was no hope for William Hague.
They always support the party most popular with the general public at the beginning of the campaign.
Sun readers voting Tory is like turkeys voting for Christmas. Unfortunately by the time they realise this it will be too late.
The Sun back who they are told to back - all the Murdoch papers are backing the Tories who will see him right!!

Seems a bit pathetic though?
Is it always like this in the run up to an election?
