I’m not sure anything has ever been truly censored on NSC. Certainly, we’ve never tried to pretend that something isn’t happening.

Unfortunately NSC is under a BHAFC microscope. When “legal stuff” happens to people close to the football club NSC discussions about it are examined in the finest detail. That means that NSCers and/or me have the risk of serious legal shit coming in our direction.

I give no apology for trying to protect others from themselves any more than I would apologise for trying to look after my own arse.

I’ve had Palace fans threaten my family repeatedly. I’m told their forum published my home address. The two things are probably not unrelated.

And you were vilified for censorship about a player of mutual interest, at least you know how to run the board, like I said thankless task

Theres little about it I dont like. Its been a solace for me through some tricky times, I have met some virtual friends who PM and maybe I will meet in real life, and I love the fact that it is so much more than a footy forum. Anyone saying it is like mumsnet can shut up. I spend a lot of time on here, cant be arsed with politics threads etc perhaps more should get moved to other stuff, but probably not its well moderated and a thankless task I guess

It's sad I know but I have deleted all social media and my life would be a bit or quite a lot crapper without NSC at the moment. I just got a project done with an NSCrs kind help and its hopefully getting rolled out over the midlands to help people in need. There isnt too much not to like about the site.

Oh annd the BBS can **** off slagging Bozza off and calling us North Stand Korea, try even posting there out the away end. I like it that away fans are welcome

Spot on mate. If I want to know something about anything, the last place I will go is social media. I come here and to see what is happening in the world get a cross section of well argued perspective, a healthy dose of piss being taken and amusing rants from resident soap-boxers , and don't forget the pamper clad floating-bed JCL's, bless.
Along with the personal help some have received from fellow NSC'ers, I would say it is one the healthiest online communities I know. Big-up the mods. xx

What do I love about NSC?

My posts - witty, informative, succinct with an element of controversy that has hundreds, nay, thousands discussing and dissecting every word that has been written. I try to be a humble person but genius just gets in the way.

It was going so well until the end as I was expecting in true Trump fashion something along the lines of I am the most humble person on NSC period.

Anyway back to the thread I really like the posts that start with I know nothing about....but I think......
Where the comments prove the poster knows nothing about the subject.

I like talking to people with different view points about stuff. As someone said you can learn a lot from said discussion.

You can also disappear down some rabbit holes with some of the Loons on here too.

Most of the time you can find support and assistance with almost anything.

Two things that stand out recently are:

Going through the best of 2017 music threads and checking out what people are listening to. We don't have the exposure in Australia so I have discovered some decent music to listen to.

My missus was complaining the other day about we talking to you lot so I asked her if she enjoyed the roast potatoes we have been having for dinner. Soon put her straight when i said that they have been vastly improved by NSC . her response was "Don't you lot just crap on about football?"
