Self employed carpenter. I guess I earn an okay amount. Would be considerably more if the jobs were my own.

Maybe in a few years!

I'm the CEO of a 2nd tier football club, I earn shit loads, it's a doddle really.....all I have to do is reply to whinging football fans emails.

I do occasionally have to do the odd tv interview for which I have a wonderful selection of woollen pull overs.

My boss is a sain, every time I tell him we're a bit low on funds he bungs in a few more quid, and hopefully later this year I'll get a pay rise and my job will be even easier !

Resource Planning Analyst. Wage looks high due to working in London but a big chunk of it gets swallowed up in commuting costs. I have a roof over my head, can afford to pay my bills and usually have a bit left over at the end of the month. Would I like to earn double my wage? Of course. Am I happy with what I have? Yes, very.

Get a JOB on the railway then

If I'm right about rail pay, I'm on more than that but for a relatively unskilled job with no real transferable skills the rail pays fairly well but people who work on the railways just don't care about the industry anymore. There is no pride in the job, it's all about getting what one can without question or qualm, entitlement and not willing to work for the customer but to feather their own nest. The decline of the railways has been sad and it's not a job I would want to be associated with. I earn enough and I love my work. That'll do for me and mine.

I thought you were just testing how much people are prepared to reveal about themselves to a number of people they don't even know.

I am pleased to see that the vast majority on here are not revealing much. Facebook on the other hand.....
Someone I know recently had a Facebook melt down and confessed to being interfered with by her father when she was younger and how all these years later the old bill suddenly pitched up at his place for a word. I realise that people who share this stuff have obviously had a traumatic life but I just don't get the need to share such intimate stuff to the whole world
