Love cheering when we have had a shot that has hit the post/crossbar, then maybe a defender blocks the follow up and then the ball rolls lose for someone to lash it in! Dunno why, but something about those types of goals are the best!

Annoyed with myself that I wasn't filming this with my smartphone.

I was bouncing around the running track with hundreds of others, also I was behind the sub's bench so Gus was going mental only a few feet away. I remember looking up at the south stand and seeing arms and legs going everywhere.

Why didn't I film this?! I would love to share that memory from where I was standing.

So yes last minute goal. Buckley's confirms this. Plus being a JLE, I appreciate the ones I do see but I'm still overjoyed if I'm walking down the west stand upper stairs at the time.

This! Bridcutt volley was cheered more loudly than most goals I've seen. Simply stunning finish! Half the crowd was on the track! And also Carlisle had just scored before in like the 88th minute and everyone thought we had thrown away 2 points so for a goal like that to fly in for us was special!

Agreed - just incredible.

Buckley (2nd) v Doncaster. I don't think I have cheered louder at any match! It was so important to win that game.

That.

Absolutely awesome moment, makes the hairs stand up on the back of my neck to this day.

Last minute winner but an equaliser can be just as good. I remember everyone going absolutely mad when we equalised at Villa a few years back:

This from last season springs to mind

I couldn't see this or the lead up to the goal because of those damn poles!

A last minute goal is always the best, as mentioned here, Bridders vs Carlisle or Buckely's vs Doncaster. Although Virgo's header was also pretty special.

I always seem to miss the best Albion moments :(

Was on holiday for the Donny game, missed Elphick's goal at Villa away, I was working during Bridcutt vs Carlisle.
Although, it could be some consolation for you guys that I'm not at The Den tomorrow!

A late minute winner in the best feeling, I cheered so loudly at Mackail-Smith's goal against Sunderland that I gave myself a migraine :albion:

Just to sum up the Bridcutt goal that a few people have mentioned in this thread in the last year at Withdean I moved seats nearer my Dad, and to the left of my new seat was this old chap, he must have been about 60 or 70 and with me just turning 20 apart from the Albion we didn't have a lot in common. As you do though with people you see every week at football you have a little chat before games and that season we obviously we were winning nearly every week. Now me and this old chap the whole time had this horrible nagging feeling that one week our bubble would burst and it would all come crashing down (as pessimistic football fans do), as I came to my seat each home game we would share a look as if to say "hope it's not this week".

As that Carlisle game went on and it looked like we were gonna hold on I started to say the the bloke "I think we could do it you know", almost at that precise moment Arter (I think) scored to make it level. The Carlisle bench came pouring out, there small section of fans a mile away went mad and our collective thought was "here we go, this is the moment we knew would happen, our we've done so well all season and we could blow it at the end". The old chap always used to leave early as well, he was rather slow and I think he didn't like getting caught up in the crowd at the end but he stayed for stoppage time and as that ball fell out the sky and onto Bridcutt's foot and into the back of the net I just instinctively grabbed and hugged the elderly gentleman. I think he was rather stunned but it was such a release it was the first thing that just happened.

What a moment that was. A moment that only football can give you really. A bloke a year before I'd never met before but here I was practically assaulting him because the Albion scored a last minute winner. Magic, magic stuff.

Sandaza's 6th minute of injury time winner against Oldham September 2010.

There was delirium on the South Stand running track, as Dickov's Oldham came to time waste to kill our by-then-well-known passing game & rhythm in our play. Justice.

It winner unexpectedly took us to the top, and the journey began!!

Can't find it on Youtube.

Hove (actually)
Mix of late winners, snatched draws, relief, disbelief and schadenfreude:-

Reinelt of course
Buckley v Donnie
Virgo v Swindon play-off semi to take to penalties
Knight at Sheff Utd
Eric Potts two in injury time vs Sunderland
Wilkins v Ipswich in about the 99th minute to make the play-offs
The 3rd Palace penalty miss ("you couldn't score in a brothel" and all that)
Case at highbury
Stevens at Wembley and finally...
"2-2, we drew at Anfied 2-2, though we were losing 2-nil, we drew at Anield 2-2...."
