What Do We Still Need?

A replacement for Navarro in the holding midfield role. Hopefully, a box to box midfielder in the Busquets role with a few goals as well.

As a bonus I would like a Maxi (Liverpool) type midfielder/striker as I am not convinced by Dicker.

With the signings of Bruno and Kuszczak now done and dusted, what other positions do you think we need to strengthen ahead of the start of the season?

For me:

- left back
- central midfielder
- striker
- Vicente

should do the job very nicely.

Yes, we do need a few positions strengthened if we are to challenge for play offs etc, but I would prefer the permission be given for the training ground/academy.In the long term we should be producing more homegrown players of first team quality. Who knows, we might even make a profit too

Left back, a creative midfielder to go alongside Vicente, 2 new target men to assist CMS and Barnesy. Maybe another Winger as well. Then I think we will be sorted.

This is more what I would like to see rather than what we need, but still:

Deadwood out: Harley, Ankergren, Painter, Poke + possibly Brez, Dicker, Sparrow depending on what cover we have in their positions

Plus:

- A first choice LB with Prem/Champ experience
- A big lad in the centre, like Trotter
- A young LB for back-up
- A better version of Chris Wood
- Vicente
- JFC to be given more first-team football
- New contract for Bridcutt, Buckley, Dunk, Barnes, Hall


and we're on course for the Prem!

I don't expect much of this to happen- i'm ecstatic with the two signings we've made so far anyway- the only ones I'd say are essential are the big CM, first choice LB, Vicente and big man up top.
