Very early train down to Rome on Thursday morning, arriving in time for breakfast.

i did a Tuesday to Friday for Marseille. And Thursday to Saturday for Ajax. I have now concluded the optimal duration is Tuesday to Sat.

We fly in to Milan on Weds evening, early train to Rome on Thurs morning.

Some sightseeing, then one of @SeanInRome ’s coaches to the game. Maybe some post match beers, depending on how long we’re kept back for and whether my daughter allows me!

Back to Milan on the train (one of the private trans that should be running) on Friday afternoon for a late evening flight back to the UK
