Very very difficult this one. Both give me a similar buzz with similar emotional highs.

Saything that, it's got to be music for me. It's a much bigger part of my life than football, despite the fact that I go to virtually every Albion game!

I also like the fact that I'm not told off by some minimum-waged goon for standing up and jumping around when I go to a gig.

Pretty much sums it up perfectly for me too.

In the words of CSS:

From all the drugs the one I like more is music
From all the junks the one I need more is music
From all the boys the one I take home is music
From all the ladies the one I kiss is music (muah!)

Music is my boyfriend
Music is my girlfriend
Music is my dead end
Music is my imaginary friend
Music is my brother
Music is my great-grand-daughter
Music is my sister
Music is my favorite mistress

From all the shit the one I got to buy is music
From all the jobs the one I choose is music
From all the drinks, I get drunk off music
From all the bitches the one I want to be is music

Music is my beach house
Music is my hometown
Music is my king-size bed
Music's where I make my friends
Music is my hot hot bath
Music is my hot hot sex
Music is my back rub
My music is where I'd like you to touch

Living without football is easy - just become a palace supporter

The age old; 'If you had to choose, would you rather be deaf or blind' question. I'd go for blind everytime. I don't know what I'd do if I didn't have my music.

I just think its amazing how clubs like Crystal Palace manage to merge these two wondrous phenomena's with goal music...and instantly make both football and music utterly SHIT.

After an occasion like Sunday's gig at the Komedia with mad Wilko I'd have to choose music - but if I'd been asked after the Donny game I'd have probably said footy.

That game will never be bettered. No-one could have scripted that for the first (proper) game, so I agree with you there...........I must admit though, I thought I may have got shot down starting this thread, especially on a footy forum, the poll is a lot closer than I expected.......

I could find other hobbies to replace football (rugby, NFL, cycling). Music however transcends all threads of life (including football).

Music, football brings back tyoo many bad memories, a legacy of being a Brighton fan I suppose. I can use music to drown out the sound of yoof on public transport, boring bastards on their mobiles on public transport, I could go on .......
