It is fun, almost impossible to control as the car is so light and the enginge is nutty but thats half the fun.

Honda Civic IMA - Hybrid chummy with a 1.4 engine that is boosted to a 2.0 performance by a battery that charges itself when braking. And goes fast enough to cost me £60 and 3 points this afternoon. :( :nono:

Over 250000 miles driven so far (not just this car, I hasten to add) and my first offence. :nono:

S reg Honda Civic 1.6 es, with full extras package, leather seats, air con etc. Brought it second hand from the Honda dealership by Holmbush roundabout, would recommend them and the car to anyone, their customer service is fantastic, and the car has exactly what I need. Had it nearly 5 years and still very happy with it.

53 reg Alfa 156 2.0 Lusso

No end of problems for the year of ownership, although I suspect this was because the dealership were a complete bunch of incompetent w:censored:rs.

Been good fun (or as near as fun as you can have with a family car) for the last 12 months.

Still trying to work out if it is cruel to squeeze your kids into the boot of an Alfa GT though....

A stunning 1963 Mk1 Super 4 door Cortina...

Are they legal now?

When I drove one (mid seventies), Brighton police generally considered it necessary to stop any Mk1 Cortina and interrogate the driver on the assumption that he was some sort of ne'er do well.

Three times in the space of a half an hour journey from Hove to Lewes Road was my record.

The car cost me £50, and immediately paid for itself when the driver of a taxi (who'd borrowed it from his mate) rammed into the back of it and didn't fancy the prospect of an insurance enquiry. "If I give you fifty notes, there'll be no need to take this any further" was his more than generous offer.

These days, I mainly drive a tiny yellow Fiat Seicento Sporting. No room for the kids. Marvellous.

I've got a Fiat Punto, although can't drive it at the moment as there's something wrong with the gear box :censored:
