Mean to read Journey to the End of the Room by Tibor Fischer (I think?), looks interesting, as well. Plus Angels & Demons - read Da Vinci Code & Deception Point, which were both excellent, so figure it's worth a look.

Not actually started it yet, but bought this very day in Borders in Churchill Square - 'Headcrusher' by Garros-Evdokimov. Mainly on account of the jacket blurb:

'Q. Money-driven aliens are invading your world. What can you do?'

Sort of assumed it was a self-help manual for Brighton residents being assailed on all sides by greedhead Londoners. But on closer inspection it appears to deal with Latvia's struggle to adjust to the influx of Capitalism.

Same difference aye?

Da Vinci Code is pure Shite.

It may not be to your taste, but the Da Vinci Code has to be one of the greatest novels to come out in recent times. An absorbing, interesting read with an excellent plot and characters involving a subject that many would usually find tedious, yet manages to keep you gripped throughout and also learn a thing or two and actually do some research on the religious aspects within its structure. His other novels aren't quite up to scratch, but Dan Brown hit the nail squarely on the head with the Da Vinci Code.

As to the question, just finishing Dresden by Frederick Taylor.

Great read, goood story line, although he does get into weird dirty sex from out of nowhere. Still now know what Ben gets up to with his Mrs....
8/10 worth buying.

Just finished The Time Traveler's Wife, by Audrey Niffenegger. Awesome book, about a time travelling guy, not in the sci fi sesne, but he has a chromo disease that causes him to lose/gain time. It's kinda a love story-ish, but not soppy or girly. Very good book, well worth reading.

About to start The Shadow Of The Wind, by Carlos Ruiz Zafon. Set in 1945, Barcelona, the Civil War just lost and Francos fascists in control and a guy who goes into a world of Forgotten Books.
