Stalin - in the Court of the Red Tsar. Reading it before we visit Russia in May.

About half way through, it is an utterly chilling portrait of a banal mass murderer. Although Beria was arguably even worse.

I would have thought any cheerleader for Communism would shut the **** up after reading it.

Really good eye opener into the formation of the Premier league and some of the nefarious goings on.

Book 9 of Surviving the Evacuation. 15 books in the series so far. Excellent zombie apocalypse story, set around UK and Ireland (mostly).

Currently going through a Scandinavian period. Just finished "The Accidental Further Adventures of the Hundred-Year-Old Man" by Sweden's Jonas Jonasson (which I picked up because I'd just married a Jonas Jonasson, as it were).

Now I'm reading "The Thirst" by Norway's Jo Nesbo.

Recently finished Armada - Ernest Cline. Loved it, looking forward to the film adaption.
Just back from the bookshop with Coyota America (Dan Flores), 1984 and Animal Farm (plus Lonely Planet Honolulu). Looking forward to starting with Animal Farm.
