Getting started on 夢を叶える逆算思考* (or Vision) by our resident author. Really slow going, as I’m rusty these days and need a pile of Japanese-English dictionaries and kanji lookup books. Vertical text makes for slow going

*make dreams come true (through) reverse thinking

How They Broke Britain - James O’Brien. Raided the Xmas stocking early and already half way through reading about the 10 planks JO’B sees as responsible for the country’s downfall.

One I need to read, having read his histories of Europe and the Far East in WWII he knows what he is writing about when it comes to military stuff.

Edit: does not look like I am getting a book for Christmas so it is off to Waterstones time!

Just finished the robot trilogy from Isaac Asimov. Worth every hour (of the many) spent. With the current AI controversy raging, it makes it even more relevant. It’s foreshadowing of the issues is frankly spooky.
