I just finished Michael Connelly's Resurrection Walk - the latest of the Mickey Haller Lincoln Lawyer series and really enjoyed it. We were away camping and I finished it in a couple of days.
After that I read The Secret: A Jack Reacher novel by Andrew Grant and Lee Child - first 10 chapters were a little difficult to get through but it was a real page turner in the end and did not see the plot twist at the end.
Just started Tom Clancy Weapons Grade by Don Bentley. Really captivating from the opening chapter, looking forward to getting further in.
The Last Secret by Nicholas Bethell. The story of the forced repatriation of Russian citizens who had fallen into the Allies hands at the end of WWII as a result of Yalta. I was aware of the situation with the Cossacks but I hadn't realised the wider scale of this.
Wing Leader - Air Vice Marshall James Edgar 'Johnnie' Johnson CB, CBE, DSO & Two Bars, DFC & Bar, DL, top Allied scorer in Europe with 38 victories. His War started as a novice Pilot Officer in Yorkshire and ended up as a Group Captain in Germany.
Best thing is he could write about all of it in an entertaining way with significant insights as to how the Air Battles went over Europe.
I have donated my 100+ aviation Library books to Tangmere Museum but I can't part with this one.
