A Woman's Game by Suzanne Wrack.

I've only just started it but it looks like it's going to be good read about the history of women's football. I know a fair bit about the early days and the rise of the Dick, Kerr Ladies, but it goes into a lot more detail.

Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus. There’s been more noise around this book than around Cucu to Man City so we shall see.

Lonely Boy by Steve Jones. Not a Pistols fan, prefer PiL, but this is an excellent read, funny, well written and some great stories featuring all your music faves, from Rick Wakeman to Iggy Pop to Rod Stewart.

Nemesis by Jo Nesbo.

I started reading the Harry Hole series a few months ago, but got waylaid by exam marking. Very enjoyable.

They do: that's why I'm so meticulous in the way I use them
Ah - so it was Pele's autobiography after all? Although I think his rise of the Dick was in his later days.

The Secret History - Donna Tartt. Think i must have previously abandoned it as it seemed familiar for the first 100 or so pages but just can't remember.

Finally finished this the other day. Amazing book.

Gonna start Altered State: The History of Ecstacy Culture and Acid House later.

We Are Bellingcat by Eliot Higgins, which offers a fascinating insight into their online journalistic sleuthing. A real page-turner.

Murder at the seaside, written by Brian Gee.
A murder mystery set in Hastings and Eastbourne, told from a scenes of crime officers view.
Happen to know the author is a life long Brighton fan

Just finished (while in Hospital) And Away... Bob Mortimers Autobiography.

His life wasn't exactly a barrel of laughs until he met up with Jim Moir (Vic Reeves).

The concluding part of a three parter. I love DB books, but this one has the sense of completing a contractual obligation. Shame
